Adding or claiming an eligible Tripadvisor business listing is free. Tripadvisor’s official owner pages describe free tools for business information, photos, reviews and performance. Paid advertising or premium products are separate and optional.
What the free listing can include
- Core business information and category
- Supported location and contact details
- Business photographs
- Responses to traveller reviews
- Free management and performance features
Search Tripadvisor first. The business may already exist because a traveller or representative submitted it. If so, claim it rather than creating a duplicate. Tripadvisor will ask you to verify your relationship with the business.
What can cost money?
Tripadvisor offers paid products such as advertising, sponsored placement and premium features. Availability and price depend on business type, country and product. A free listing does not mean every promotional or booking product is free.
If a service offers to create or optimize the page for a fee, that is the provider’s service fee—not Tripadvisor’s basic listing fee. Ask what work is included.
Use the official business name, correct map location, suitable category, truthful description and original photos.
